Bump Picture

I'm trying to do well with taking pictures of my ever growing Bump.  Here is the most recent one taken yesterday.

18 Weeks...and counting

This week, our sweet baby is the size of a sweet potato, AND we are only 2 weeks away from finding out the gender!!!!  Baby is growing so fast that I can now see a difference almost every day.  Really!!  My bump is completely obvious... there is no hiding it now!  : )

Dinner Date

Last night, I went to dinner with Mom, Dad, Daniel, Shannon and Matthew for Father's Day.  Dad decided on Cheeburger Cheeburger so we all met after work.  It was my first time eating there and the burger was fabulous!!!  I was absolutely stuffed.  Next time though, I'm thinking about saving some room and trying out the Birthday Cake Shake... YUM!

I just have to brag on my nephew for a moment.  He is so cute and fun to be around.  We played with cards, and picked out colors and he was talking up a storm.  Here are a couple of pictures I took of him last night.

Move In Day

Since today is the big day, I wanted to give an update on what we have been up to for the past couple of weeks with the new house. 

First off....The baby's room!!  Well, the red, yellow and black decor was not working for us, and since we don't know the gender just yet, Cody and I decided Chocolate would be perfect.  Then, we can pair it with some blue, pink, or maybe even green later on.

We LOVE how it turned out!!  Thank you Mom, Dad and Daniel for helping us!  Next was the Kitchen which needed all the hardware, a new dishwasher and a cabinet door.  So far, it has turned out really well!  I love the way it's all coming together.

It's still a work in progress, but we are excited to spend our first night in our new home!!

Bump Update

Baby Davis is growing... and fast.  I have noticed in the past week that my bump is really showing!  (I'm trying to wear the same outfit each time I take my progress pictures so that you can see the change.) 
He/She is now the size of an avocado and can hear my voice.... guess I better watch what I say!!   :) 

As for Cody and I, we now have a book of baby names and are looking at LOTS of different ones.  We both have our individual preferences, and I'm sure it will come down to the end for a final decision.  I will definitely keep you updated (and any suggestions would be great).

Week 15

This week, our sweet baby is the size of an orange.

My baby bump is becoming more apparent, and I'm moving into maternity clothes.  They are comfortable for the most part, but a lot of them are too big for me right now. 

I am finally starting to feel "pregnant".  I know that sounds silly, but for the first few weeks, you question whether something is really there, or not.

Monday I will go for my third appointment, and I'm excited to hear the baby's heartbeat again!!  It's the most exciting thing... at least until I can feel him/her.  That's something I am really looking forward to and each night when I lay down to rest, I wonder if that will be the night I feel it!!  Nothing yet, but I will keep you updated.
